tennis ball footage

Here is video footage of me throwing my tennis ball towards the ground and recording its movement.

After recording my footage, i wanted to break down the video into images. I wanted each frame as image and have a semi, flicker animation. This would mean i can flick through each image and slowly watch the movement of the ball and see if there's,

-any squash and stretch as the ball impacts towards the ground.

- check the speed of the bounce after it has impacted the ground

- to check the height of the first bounce and how the height decreases of the rest of the movement

NEW UNI=New project

My new project now is to do a 2D animation of a bouncy ball with a tail. hmmmmmmm....ball and tail.....bouncy ball with tail.....ok kl

I have bought myself some tennis balls which I'm gonna use as a reference in the early stages of my animation. To start of with, I'm going to do a test animation of a bouncing ball without a tail.

Im going to record the bounce of the tennis ball with break the video up in frames. I will then convert these frames in images. This will make it easier for me to see the flow path of the ball as it leaves me hand, makes contact with the ground, its bounce arch and etc.

Here the sack is about to jump. you can see how its body is folded forward as its tryin to jump towards that direction. The plank is bending as the sack is forcing its weight down therefore bending the plank

Here we see a shot of the sack hanging onto the end of the plank because he's previous jump took him to far towards the edge.
